Morocco Revisited

Reunion in Malvern with all members of the trip attending. The weekend went very smoothly with every one showing a collection of their images, both edited and unprocessed, followed by meal in local pub where we dropped the location for this years trip–Croatia.

After the meal we  ended the day with some wine at my place and some friendly photo related banter..

Sunday was up and trip to local cafe to top up on a full English breakfast followed by watching and photographing a local rugby match.

This was followed by a afternoon of editing dropping hints and passing on techniques to other members.

Tea was served and we called time.

A big thank you for all effort put in,especially from those that travelled a long way ,one flying in from Scotland and one who drove up from Cornwall.

Another Successful Course compleated

The latest Studio20E course was held in Malvern,Worcester.

With some new and some revisiting faces (Always nice to see returning faces)

The first day out (after some quick revision) was  on the Malvern Hills (Bluebell shoot)

Unfortunatly it was in the middle of the pre Easter hotspell and there was a lot of heat haze making landscape shots a none runner. All students managed some great shots of the bluebells that abound on the hills.

Second day covered architecture with a visit to Witley Court ( recommended  )

Day three was on The Severn Valley steam railway where students managed period (Victorian) type railway shots and some even got into the floorplate (Drivers cab) of one of the working trains.

Fourth day started with a introduction to software Adobe Elements and for some Lightroom. This was followed by a “Free afternoon” where students could venture off with their cameras.

A number of students came with the instructors to a afternoon along side the River Avon at Tewksbury and later into the black and white 15th Centry Alms houses and the Abbey.

The last day (Friday) was course dispersal.A slide show of the best images taken and one to one progress chats with instructors.

I would like to thank all the students for their enthusiasm which made for the course being very enjoyable by all.
